The Apartments
Leopold is typically Viennese. Situated in an old house (built 1870), renovated and revitalised in 2014, Leopold today is a chic city apartment, close to the Carmelite Market. Leopold convinces with a combination of classic old-Vienna features and interior, planned by architects and personally selected by us. As a concession to modern living we have built in a (well hidden) air condition. By the way: Together with the apartment Josefine located directly opposite, living is even more generous, as both apartments can be combined to one large flat.
Josefine has profile and quite a lot of pep. In relation to interior design, she is comparable to Leopold, but is situated yard-side and therefore a particularly calm partner for the urban Leopold. Josefine has a generous window front facing a park and a little loggia, best situated for sipping a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening – or a cigarette for in between (as the apartments are non-smoking). Plus silence, birdsongs or the sound of Vienna, as you wish.
Our apartments Leopold and Josefine are functional, fabulous and made for each other. This is why some of our guests love to stay in both of them as a generous double-apartment.
We have given thorough thoughts as to what makes an apartment an urban retreat in a (yet) unknown city. Our guests should feel like locals, here, “Chez Schneider”. This is why we have taken care of many important and precious little things in connection with living in Vienna.
Of course with the best of all: The autonomy of an apartment without hidden costs, but with added value like bicycles and individual recommendations (and no travel guide “secret tips”). Functional, chic and modern. Authentic atmosphere, without the need for kitsch. Near to the old town (by foot!) and nestled into a vibrant neighbourhood with top infrastructure, plus a pinch of hipness. Design yes, but not in a foolish way. Chic, but no chichi.
Should there still be extra wishes, please just ask. We have a solution for nearly everything.
